Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, you may have seen this during visits to our surgery. Our infection control processes are such that when you receive care it is both safe for you and the practice staff.

Our practice follows the highest cross infection control guidelines made by our governing bodies and so you will notice some changes to our procedures to adhere to their recommendations.

Our Practice will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions.

We have hand sanitisers which we will ask you to use on entering and leaving the practice. If you are unable to use sanitiser please inform us.

Staff may be wearing more personal protective equipment than normal.

Extraneous clutter such as magazines have all been removed from the waiting room.

With the exception of children and patients with carers please can patients come alone.

Payment should be made by card if at all possible.

If you show symptoms of Covid 19 before your appointment such as a new cough , fever, high temperature or loss of taste or smell you should contact the practice by phone to cancel your appointment.

Ideally arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment.

Please do not arrive late or miss your appointment.

A face mask of face covering must be worn in the reception and waiting room areas.
