Fissure Sealants

Usually performed on children's teeth a fissure sealant seals over the nooks and crannies of the tooth to help prevent decay getting in. It is a simple non-invasive procedure which is very effective at preventing decay in children. It simply involves applying a gel to the surface of the tooth for 20 seconds, washing it off, drying the tooth, applying the sealant and allowing it to set for 20 seconds.
